tournamentsTournaments are a very popular spectator event. The jousting is very thrilling, watching men on horses with lances just absolutely pulverising each other. It's great fun to watch. The melee is exciting because in the stands we can see everything and what's going to happen but down in amongst all the those horses, it can be a tricky event to compete in. Going to see a tournament is a must if your going to visit medieval England.
